Launch of Study Direct Stream (SDS)
Introduced in 2018 by IRCC, SDS simplifies the visa process. Under this program, students need an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in each module. Additionally, they must purchase a $10,000 Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) and pay one year’s tuition fees.
